What does it cost?
MotoRides Australia charges a tiered commission on each booking or referral. There are no upfront or monthly fees to list your tours. Service and payment fee details are listed on the How it Works page.

Are the customers still my customers?
Yes. Similar to other marketplace platforms, we will produce an invoice on your behalf, which means they remain your customer. The bookings are easily downloadable from the Tour Operators Dashboard.

Do I need to increase my price to cover the commission?
We provide operators with a calculation tool on the tour page that enables them to determine the best balance for price offerings on this platform. The commission can be considered a marketing spend, as we handle promotion and customer acquisition for you.

What happens with cancellations?
Operators can set the days they offer a 50% discount and a no-refund policy. You can also set the days before the event when full payment is required, and whether you offer a deposit option. These can all be set per event.

Some customers can't pay the full amount up front. Can they pay in instalments?
Yes. MotoRides manages bookings and payments on behalf of operators, and customers can pay in instalments when the operator offers a deposit.

​Can I offer additional options like bike hire, accommodation or discounts?
Yes. Our platform allows you to create and manage multiple options and variations, such as bike hire, accommodation, or additional services. You can also add price variations, such as discounts or surcharges.

What happens if I sell out through external sales?
MotoRides tracks the total and current capacity of events listed on the platform. You can update availability at any time to reflect external sales. If you use MotoRides exclusively for bookings, availability will be updated automatically. This does not apply to the Referral model, except for updating when sold out.
