Shooting Angles
Add variety to your video.

Different angles make the difference between an ok video and a great video. Boring is boring and we want to keep our viewers engaged in the story we’re telling and the quickest way to make someone bored is to show them the same thing for long periods of time. However, we can solve that pretty easily by simply throwing in different angles.
One Camera
You don’t need multiple cameras to get different angles, you just need to mix up where you place the camera and we can throw those different angles into the video anywhere we need to add something different. Of course if the scenery changes dramatically then we probably need to grab additional footage from other angles but also grabbing shots that don’t show the scenery will help.
There’s a couple ways to achieve this, using different mounts around the bike, having a mount that can fit in flexible places and then also grabbing some shots handheld. If you’re grabbing some handheld shots then it goes without saying that of course you’re going to securely mount the camera when it’s not in your hand and using a string will mean you can let go of the camera if you need to.
Multiple Cameras
Using multiple cameras obviously means you can capture the same moment from different but it not only means an investment in the additional camera or cameras but also an investment in time to deal with the extra files and multi-camera setups in your editing suite. However, this is not that hard to handle and the extra views much the editing much easier.
For me, finding different camera angles is actually the really fun part. This is where you can be really creative and particularly with 360 cameras.
