Tarana Café is a favourite pause point for riders exploring the backroads between Bathurst, Oberon, Rydal, and the stunning O’Connell Valley. Set opposite the old railway station, it has that classic small-village charm — simple, friendly, and perfectly placed right in the middle of some brilliant riding country.

The food and coffee hit the mark, there’s plenty of space to park the bike, and the whole area has that quiet rural vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer before getting back into the sweepers. It’s an ideal stop on any Central West loop.
