Taralga General Store is a classic high-country pit stop for riders running between Goulburn, Oberon, and the Abercrombie backroads. It’s simple, friendly, and exactly what you want in the middle of a chilly Highlands ride: hot food, good coffee, and a warm spot to thaw out before tackling the next stretch.
It’s also one of the few places in the area where you can reliably grab supplies or a quick bite without detouring off your route. Riders love it because it breaks up the big open straights and links perfectly with the local sweepers and dirt options around Wiarborough and Bannaby.
