Orbost sits on the edge of the Snowy River country and serves as a perfect staging point for riders exploring East Gippsland. Whether you’re heading to Marlo to see the river mouth, taking on McKillops Bridge, or climbing toward Errinundra and the high forests, Orbost is where you fuel up, eat well, and get your bearings.

It’s a classic country town with friendly locals, solid services, and that relaxed “edge of the wilderness” vibe. For adventure riders, it’s the last dependable supply stop before disappearing into some of Victoria’s best remote roads and forest trails.
