This striking sandstone rock wall sits along Wollombi Road near Mogo Creek and is one of those places riders often stop without it even being marked on a map. The curved rock face, overhang, and colours make it a perfect backdrop for photos, especially with adventure bikes covered in dust from the surrounding roads.
It’s right in the middle of great riding country too — linking Wollombi, Bucketty, Wisemans Ferry, and the Watagans — so it naturally becomes a photo stop during a day of twisties and dirt. A simple roadside stop, but one that always makes the ride feel a bit more memorable.
