Island Bend Campground is a quiet alpine camping spot tucked beside the waterways of the Snowy, surrounded by snow gums, mountains, and crisp mountain air. It’s a great base for riders exploring the western side of Kosciuszko National Park, with easy access to roads linking Khancoban, Cabramurra, and Tumut.

The setting feels remote without being difficult to access, making it perfect for riders who want a relaxed overnight stop after a big day in the saddle. Campfires, starry skies, and the occasional echo of rushing water give the place a calm, almost hidden-away atmosphere that suits adventure travel perfectly.
