Finchley Lookout is one of Yengo National Park’s standout viewpoints — a high, open platform looking out across the ancient sandstone country of the Wollombi wilderness. Getting up there is half the fun: the track has a few rocky, sandy, and slightly technical sections, which makes it a perfect “first challenge” for newer adventure riders without ever feeling risky or overwhelming.

At the top, you’re rewarded with big horizons, quiet bush, and a nearby Aboriginal cultural site with carved rock engravings. It’s a brilliant stop for photos, a breather, or linking into bigger loops through Yengo and the Central Coast hinterland.
