Brachina Gorge is one of those Flinders Ranges experiences every rider should tick off — a rugged, winding corridor carved through 500-million-year-old rock layers. The track weaves between towering orange cliffs, dry creek beds, and geological formations that tell the story of Earth long before bikes (or humans) existed.

Adventure riders love it because it’s pure sensory overload: shifting colours, tight little turns, rocky patches, wildlife, and that dramatic “Flinders glow” in the late afternoon. It links beautifully with Bunyeroo Gorge and the nearby outback roads, making it one of the most memorable sections you can ride anywhere in Australia.
