The Betoota Pub is the stuff of outback legend — a lone sandstone hotel sitting in the middle of vast Channel Country, hundreds of kilometres from the next cold beer in any direction. Long abandoned and later restored, it’s become a pilgrimage point for adventure riders who want that “proper remote” feeling without crossing a desert to get it.

Rolling in, you’re greeted by wide horizons, absolute silence, and the unmistakable charm of a pub that refuses to disappear. It’s a brilliant stop if you’re exploring Birdsville, Windorah, or doing the great outback loops. There’s nowhere else quite like Betoota — simple, remote, and full of character.
