The Bethanga Hotel is a proper country pub perched in the hills above Lake Hume, surrounded by some brilliant riding roads linking Albury, Tallangatta, Mitta Mitta, and the Victorian High Country. It’s the kind of place adventure riders naturally end up at — good meals, cold drinks, relaxed atmosphere, and plenty of stories being swapped in the beer garden.
The roads around Bethanga are what really make it shine: flowing sweepers, quiet backroads, and stunning lake and mountain views in almost every direction. A perfect lunch stop or overnight waypoint when exploring the Murray and High Country regions.
