Ride Overview

This four-day off-road motorcycle adventure is packed with everything a real adventure rider wants—twisties, epic climbs, high-country vistas, and remote dirt that’ll make your tyres sing.

We’ll be riding some of the best roads in the Southern Highlands and through the heart of Victoria’s legendary High Country.

From big open tracks to winding alpine roads, every day is a new ride through dirt terrain and natural beauty.

The Route:

Day 1 – Penrith to Goulburn (~300 km) 22/11/2025

Start Place of ride: McDonalds Car Park - Next to Penrith Panthers - Mulgoa Rd, Penrith NSW 2750

We kick things off bright and early from Penrith. After sign-on and briefing, we ride out across the beautiful dirt roads—through forest trails and country backroads that’ll set the tone for the journey ahead.

The dirt tracks here are just a taste of what’s to come. We'll end the day in the historic town of Goulburn, the perfect setting to rest up and share a cold one with your fellow riders.

Luggage support provided

Optional camping or hotel stays

Emergency satellite comms and first-aid equipped guides

Suitable for larger adventure bikes

No enduro or single-track

We will have a lead Rider, 3 Ride Pack Sweeps on motorcycles, 2 Mechanics, Support car and trailer. So, you will be and truly looked after on this ride.

Suitable to Big adventure Bikes, and medium adventure bikes.

Bike Setup & Tyres

This ride is built for larger adventure bikes, not lightweight enduros. Roads are gazetted council roads. You’ll want a minimum of 30/70 road-dirt tyres— This is mandatory with more dirt capability preferred. Please don’t arrive with your 60/40 tyres. It puts you at risk and the sweeps trying to help you. Your standard tyres that come with the bike off the showroom floor won’t cut it.

The MITAS E07 or something similar is what we recommend for this tour.

What You’ll Need

  • Adventure bike in good condition
  • Knobby tyres
  • Riding gear with protection
  • Brake and clutch lever
  • Tube front and rear for your motorcycle – Even if its tubeless, you’ll still need tubes if you buckle a rim
  • A good sense of humour and love for adventure

Final Word

This four-day ride from Sydney to Melbourne offers the best of Australia’s highland and alpine dirt riding. It’s remote, rugged, and rewarding—and with expert support, it’s also safe and well-organized.

So, what are you waiting for? Strap your gear on and join us for the ultimate motorcycle adventure through the Southern Highlands and the Victorian High Country.

The road’s calling. We’re ready. Are you?
