The Snowy Mountains Highway is a major road in New South Wales, Australia, connecting the towns of Tumut and Adaminaby. It is approximately 130 kilometres long and is part of the Great Dividing Range. The highway passes through some of the most stunning scenery in the Snowy Mountains, including the Kosciuszko National Park and the Monaro Plains. Along the way, there are spectacular views of the mountains and valleys, as well as the lakes, rivers and creeks that flow along the route. The road is winding and steep in places, and there are several attractions and activities along the way, including the Snowy River National Park, the Adaminaby Dam and the historic township of Adaminaby.
